CHARDONNAY is a French white varietal. Originating from Burgundy , it is now an international varietal. It was named after a small village in Burgundy, in the Macon neighborhood. It was made from a crossing between Pinot Noir and Gouais blanc. Its qualities are used for many white wines, from high quality burgundy whites to Champagne sparkling wines and varietal wines. Its high potential can produce the best dry, sparkling or sweet white wines. Chardonnay makes ample, balanced, powerful with complex and intense aromas with an incredible variety. This expressive grape varietal seduces with its elegance and many possibilities.
